Welcome to the prettiest little tiny home in Fort Wayne! Nestled next to the woods, our guests enjoy a quiet, country getaway to escape all the busy of the city life! The stunning 9-foot windows in the bedroom give you the feel of sleeping in the woods, yet you have total privacy! We have recently renovated this sweet little shed, adding on a beautiful bedroom and a private bath just out side the door. SPECIAL NOTE: We were listed as the most unique Airbnb in Indiana by House Beautiful-2022! Recently renovated, our "tiny shed" has all the feel of a modern home, yet all the coziness of a cabin in the woods! The stunning 9 foot vintage windows that look out to the woods give the feeling that you are deep in the woods and feature an amazing view to wake up to! The queen sized bed has a Tuft and Needle mattress and all cotton bedding for a comfortable night's sleep! The original tiny shed space is now a sweet little living room with a dining/workspace. We have a coffee bar with locally roasted coffee. There is also a microwave and a mini-fridge/freezer. The sofa is a pull out futon bed for an extra guest space. A new remote control air conditioner/heater keeps the space very comfortable during your stay along with a modern ceiling fan. Just outside the front door (located in the back corner of our barn) is a full private bath with a pretty modern/vintage style. The cast iron tub and sink are in keeping with the touch of vintage in this modern bath! This is an incredible glamping experience with all the comforts of a high-end hotel! It is the perfect quiet, private escape in the country, yet close enough to town to enjoy the many great restaurants, shops and activities our great city has to offer! Guests have private access to their own bath located in the back of our barn, just a few steps away from the front entrance of the tiny shed! The dedicated guest parking area for the tiny shed is located in front of our black garage/barn. We want your stay to be enjoyable, so we give you total privacy during your stay, but feel free to text or call any time during your stay if you need anything! If you see us when we stop in to do yardwork or clean our other space, our Country Bungalow, feel free to say hello! Our home is located in the country on the sweetest little one acre property butted up next to a wooded acres on one side and farmland on the other side. We have an incredible dairy farm near us and in the fall you can take in the fabulous 'Fall Festival' they host every weekend beginning in September thru the end of October. You will get a total country setting, yet we are located within 15 minutes from many restaurants, shopping and attractions in Fort Wayne you may what to visit while you are staying. The tiny shed is quiet, full of nature and the sound of the woods and a beautiful view of a full sky of stars on a clear night. While we are located in the country, we are so close to (within 15 minutes give or take a few) local restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, malls & our beautiful downtown! We are also only 7 minutes from one of Fort Wayne's most popular wedding venues...Union 12! We also have maps to bike or hike on our Fort Wayne Trails laid out all over our city, along with a map to give you help in where to go! Feel free to take a bike ride down our country road on one of the bikes we have provided! **We now have HIGH SPEED INTERNET!! We just added a dedicated internet service to the tiny shed, so you have the fastest, most reliable internet available! Great for streaming movies on your laptop or working remotely! (Updated on 3/1/23) **This IS a glamping experience, so with the wonderful comforts and our diligence to thoroughly clean our space after every guest, you may still occasionally see a bug or two due to the heavy woods we sit next to. We want to remain as natural and organic as we can, especially because we allow dogs to stay. We do, however, use a safe barrier spray every quarter so they die as soon as they cross that barrier! **Need to check in early or check out late? We are happy to accommodate your request! We have a small $15/per hour fee for early check in or late check out. **We provide 6 complimenary bottles of water for your stay! If you will be staying more than one night, you may want to bring extra water so you have plenty! We also provide local coffee, creamer/sugar and a few snacks for your stay! **We are on a well, so if you are from the city, it will be different than you are used to so you may occasionally notice an odor from the water due to the natural minerals/iron it contains. We do have a filter on the water, so that helps a great deal! It's just part of staying in the country! 😊
