The Hut in The Orchard

The Shepherd's Hut, nestled in the beautiful Weald of Sussex is a perfect bolt-hole to escape the bustle of everyday life. Slow down to nature's pace and reconnect with the great outdoors on our working farm. The space When you stay on our working farm, you have exclusive use of the 3/4 acre orchard paddock, we only have the one Shepherd's Hut ( with its adjoining Dining Hut) for one reason, escapism, so you are the only guests at any one time. The Shepherd's hut has all the mod-cons you could want to ensure your stay in the country is comfortable...en-suite shower room...fully fitted kitchenette, central heating, Wi-Fi and your own dining hut adjacent with an outdoor log burning stove for that authentic campfire experience under the stars. We are family and dog friendly. The hut sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. (All linen and towels provided). Additional children can be accommodated, we charge a small fee for pitching your own tent to sleep up to 4 more children. Well behaved dogs are welcome, please notify us at the time of booking, a £20 fee is payable for additional cleaning. Guest access Guests are welcome into the farmyard to meet the animals by invitation only, we are a working farm with tractors, heavy machinery and livestock. There are times when it would be too dangerous to allow visitors access. We respectfully ask that parents supervise their children at all times when staying at Conies Farm. Other things to note Well-behaved dogs are welcome. We do charge a small £20 valeting charge per stay for dogs. Please bring your own pet bedding and kindly clear up after your dog. We can provide a Full English breakfast or a breakfast hamper for a small fee. Please contact us for more information if you would like us to arrange this prior to your arrival.
