Number 1 Steam Packet Cottage is a lovely small conservation protected 2 bedroom cottage set in a private courtyard in the city centre of Canterbury. Close walking distance to all historical attractions, the Cathedral, restaurants, bars, train and bus stations. A fully modernised, refurbished cottage ideal for University graduations, holiday breaks, or business trips. The space Steam Packet cottage is an older property, fully refurbished to provide clean quality comfortable accommodation. There are a few internal areas of lower restricted ceiling, which should really be no problem, but may or may not be relevant for guests of above average height. There is a separate living room, and kitchen, with the two double bedrooms upstairs. Guest access The whole house is available for all guests. Other things to note Strictly no parking in the courtyard, but parking is available directly opposite in North Lane car park, or the larger Pound lane car park just a two minute walk away. There is Free street parking in a number of the St Dunstan's side roads between 6.00pm & 9.00am, this includes Lindon Grove opposite "Bishops Finger pub" around the corner. At the top of St Dunstan's about a 10 minute away you will also find free Street parking in Forty Acres Road, Nursery walk, and many of the roads off the main street. For guests booking a "minimum 3 day longer stay" we can accommodate with limited free parking at one of our other properties 15 minutes walk away. Hide
