The space Bankside Cottage is a characterful Peak District retreat combining traditional charm with modern comfort. Set beside the river in an idyllic and unspoilt location, it offers a rare opportunity to truly switch off and enjoy nature. Inside, the cottage is warm and welcoming, with exposed stone, cosy living and a traditional open range fire. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. After a day exploring the surrounding countryside, unwind by the fire or enjoy a relaxed evening with family and friends. Outside, the peaceful garden provides a lovely spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine after a day walking. An enclosed, dog-friendly garden with outdoor seating for alfresco dining, a BBQ, and a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy long summer evenings. Private free parking is available for one car directly outside the cottage, with additional parking very close by. Please avoid parking extra vehicles on the roadside. The kitchen is well equipped and full of character, featuring a range cooker that adds extra warmth and charm, along with a dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine for easy holiday cooking. A separate dining/breakfast room comfortably seats six, ideal for relaxed meals, board games and planning the next day’s adventures. There’s also a handy utility room with a downstairs WC, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a small fridge freezer for extra food and drinks.
