Traditional Stone House "Doll's House"

"Maison de la poupée" is located at the picturesque mountain village of Afetes, part of south Pelion. Built amphitheatrically amongst a vast olive grove with exquisite views of the Pagastikos Gulf and easy access to beaches can guarantee an unforgettable experience for them who wish a privet location to relax. It is a fully equipped, two levels stone-built property, large garden and barbecue area. The ideal choice for families, couples or friends! Pets are welcome. The space The house is from 1913, and has been restored and partly renovated on 2005. It combines the earth elements and modern furnitures in harmony, still the main part of the house follows the traditional style of Pelion houses, it is 200sm large with an extra 400sqm garden. "Maison de la poupée" can host up to 10 people. In total there are 3 double-bed bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with two single beds each, if needed there is one extra guest bed. Two kitchens, two bathrooms, and two dining areas (first and second level). The first level features 1 master bedroom including a small living room, a living room with a fireplace which can become a room with two single beds, a dining room, master bathroom and kitchen with a charming private balcony. The master room has a double canopy bed, and a cozy living room with “GAUDI” Recamier and “Sessel Lucky” chair by Bretz Brothers. The kitchen is fully equipped and renovated, all furnitures included are from Shiffiini and Franke kitchen systems. Master bathroom designed in vintage style with iron double-slipper tub, which features a freestanding design and an inviting shape set on regal lion's paws. A large “Sturm und Plastic” baroque mirror is placed above the sink. All rooms have large bright wooden windows which give views in the green yard. The second floor features 2 master bedrooms with canopy double beds and large wardrobe each, a dining table area, a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace with a view in the main village. On the second floor hallway there is a small chapel with mural iconographies. The house belonged to a priest, during the renovation we decided to keep it as part of the house history. An outstanding gigantic Tilia tree stands in the main part of the garden offering shade during all seasons, while you can relax and enjoy yourselves in the outdoor “Bubble Club” living room designed by Kartell. You can enjoy your meals outdoors at the dining table or at the barbecue terrace on the second floor. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property Other things to note There is a small studio house that is inside the property and share the same outdoor, beside that both houses are independent. In the studio, usually I am staying myself or part of my family. It's very unlikely to be rented to guests. Please be aware due to the location of the house, the phone signal may not be very strong.
