♥ Lavender house appeals to guests who are looking for a break with a true Mediterranean feel, away from their busy lives. It's ideal to those who wish to be surrounded by nature. ♥ The space Situated down the hill from picturesque village of Glossa (450 meters/ 8 minutes on foot), the location is peaceful and quiet, with no traffic – yet being close to amenities, shops and restaurants. The only sounds you’ll hear are chirping birds and the rustling of the leaves of huge plane trees from the stream below. Full of character and with excellent views of the Aegean Sea, the house has been fully renovated in very good conditions, with respect for the local traditional architecture. GROUND FLOOR • PATIO: A traditional cobbled street takes you down to the front patio of the house, paved with cool white marble and fenced with low stone walls. Half of the patio is covered with beautiful wooden ceiling with exposed chestnut beams, being ideal for outdoor dining. The uncovered part is ideal for sunbathing and has two sun-loungers. The captivating views to the sea and the surrounding area are totally uninterrupted. • LIVING, KITCHEN, DINING: Entering into the open plan living area, you immediately sense that the house is not just a rental accommodation but also a lovingly decorated home, with white marble floors, wooden ceiling with exposed chestnut beams, well maintained stone walls and other details. The sofa can be converted into a bed for a 5th person if required. The fully fitted kitchen has all the conveniences plus a dishwasher. The handcrafted staircase –made with extreme care from hard wood– is a beautiful piece of art. • FULL BATHROOM: Very stylish, the mosaic-marble bathroom comprises full size bathtub with shower facility, basin, toilet and clothes washing machine. The window above bathtub allows air ventilation and plenty of day light. UPPER FLOOR It includes two bedrooms and two balconies. • OPEN PLAN FIRST BEDROOM: The wooden staircase from ground floor leads direct into the first bedroom, whithout door. This bright room - ideal for children - features an open beamed traditional roof and patio door to a spacious sunny balcony with panoramic views. There are 2 identical single beds in the room and a small wardrobe. Mattresses are soft, with a height of 28cm and pocket springs that adjust to the body and hold the spine in its natural curve allowing the muscles to relax resulting in a perfectly restful sleep. • MASTER BEDROOM: It is well separated with door that closes and features open beamed traditional roof, queen size bed (152cm*200cm) and bookcase in an alcove. The 100% natural latex mattress, in combination with a slatted bed base, allows for a cool comfortable sleep. The room has access into its own balcony with lovely sea views, where is also a second entrance to the house from the upper part of the cobbled street. Other things to note - The village of Athéato and the house itself are not be suitable for guests who are not familiar with rural life.
