Gîte de la Maison Chassel, a little paradise for 2

Facing Balazuc, one of the "most beautiful villages in France", not far from the Ardèche gorges and the Chauvet cave, Luc, former owner of the Château de Balazuc with his wife Florence, invites you to put your suitcases in his gîte. A peaceful haven, nestled on the ground floor of his house with contemporary architecture. You will enjoy a large covered terrace, a garden planted with oaks and the swimming pool, a heated infinity pool with a breathtaking view! The space Everything has been thought of so that you will have an enchanting stay at the Gîte de la Maison Chassel and we will be at your disposal to advise you if you wish. There is a lot to do here: - heritage treasures to discover: the Chauvet cave, Aven d'Orgnac, dolmens, the Ardèche museum in Balazuc and many others - magnificent hikes in breathtaking landscapes - canoeing down the Ardèche - Ulm flights over the Ardèche gorges - magnificent little villages to discover - good restaurants, including one with a Michelin star OUR RATES Our rates, as advertised on our website or on the FB social network where you will find our contact details, are as follows From May 1st to September 30th: 980 euros per week From October 1st to April 30th: 840 euros per week A 10% discount is given from the second week onwards To these prices must be added the tourist tax (€1.89 per person per night in 2023). We accept short stays of at least two nights in low season, but they can only be validated two weeks before the arrival date as we prefer long stays. In this case, the rate is 120 euros per night. The conditions on AirBnb are different, as the platform charges clients a service fee. THE INTERIOR Our gîte is a two-roomed flat of 42 m2, composed of : - a living room opening onto a large covered terrace, with a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, fridge and a dining area, a sitting area with a sofa, two armchairs, a television and a DVD player; - a bedroom with a 160 cm bed with an excellent quality mattress, four pillows, a wardrobe; - a bathroom with a large walk-in shower; - a separate toilet On the covered terrace of 50 m2, a dining area, two armchairs and two deckchairs, an old piece of furniture on which you can install the plancha. THE SWIMMING POOL This is a 10x4 overflowing pool, 1.50 metres deep, heated, salt water, with an electric roller shutter and lighting. It is partly surrounded by a large wooden solarium. It is shared with us and is accessible without restriction from 1 Mai to 30 September. THE GARDEN The entire garden, 3000 m2 planted with oak trees and sloping gently down towards the village, is accessible to you. OUR CONDITIONS : We rent by the week, from Sunday to Sunday. Arrival between 4pm and 9pm Departure at 11 am A cleaning option is available (60 euros) For stays of more than a week, we offer a weekly service of change of sheets, towels and pool towels and small cleaning.
