Garden Studio in Biggar

A recently converted stylish, self-contained garden apartment with private garden, patio area, chiminea and private off-street parking. There is has a KING sized bed, sitting/dining area, kitchenette and shower room. Only a few minutes walk from local pubs, shops, cafes. This tranquil studio is an ideal base for two people when exploring the area, attending weddings, local events, a base for work or simply just looking for a lovely place to relax. A continental breakfast hamper is provided. The space The garden studio has been recently converted from the outbuildings of what was formerly a Victorian Hotel and sits in the garden of the main house. Large windows flood the studio with lots of natural light, this makes it a lovely relaxing place to spend time. There is a living/sleeping area, with a double bed, sofa which is also converts into a sofa bed (small double). A travel cot with bassinet (cot sheet included) is available on request. There is also a dining table and three chairs, Smart TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi (super fast broadband), infrared electric heating with a Hive thermostat, and USB charger sockets. You will also find two white dressing robes, a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and a selection of board games. The studio has an outside tap handy for muddy boots or bikes, also a washing line to dry clothes if required. The shower room has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet and electric heated towel rail. There is a small kitchen which is well stocked and you will find essential items, such as sugar, olive oil, a selection of teas, coffees (capsule and ground). The kitchen has a garden view and is equipped with a sink, mini oven with grill, two hobs, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, Nespresso coffee machine with pods, kettle and toaster. You will receive a continental breakfast hamper on arrival (please let your host know if you require gluten free options). Outside there is a patio and garden area with a variety of garden furniture, and chiminea for your use, this looks onto a garden with grass, trees and shrubs. A basket of wood is supplied for the chiminea. Guest access The patio area and garden around the apartment is for guests. You will also be able to enjoy the larger garden area which is shared with your host. Other things to note The studio is very close to the local wedding venues of Cornhill Castle Hotel, Shieldhill Castle Hotel, and Cormiston Farm. Biggar High Street is only a 5 minute walk away with a selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Two public electric car charging points can be found in the centre of town, just a short walk from the studio. At Abington Services at J13 of the M74, a 15 minute drive from the studio, there are Tesla super chargers and public fast chargers for electric vehicles.
