Completely renovated and lovingly designed wooden house on a well-kept forest property. Enjoy the tranquility, OF COURSE also with your dog. Thanks to our 4-star furnishings, you will not want for anything. Many forests and meadows as well as the km-long Elbe side canal invite you for long walks. Other things to note When we visited this house in January 2020, we found a property that had remained in the 70s (see photos from "Once upon a time... on our homepage"), whose approx. 1600 sqm forest property was not passable and hardly accessible. But we very quickly had a vision of what everything could look like in the end. From our point of view today, we can say that our vision and above all the feeling that already arises on the way to our vacation home has exceeded all expectations. The navigability was established and then a carport was built. The trees of the garden were pruned, partially felled and prepared in a lot of detail to be handsome and appealing. Meanwhile, thanks to our friendly farmer, we have removed nine large tractor trailers full of leaves, branches and other green cuttings. In addition, the all-round wooden fence has been renewed, so that if you arrive with a dog or child, you can sit back completely relaxed. Today we sit on our newly built terrace and hear NOTHING except the birdsong. Meanwhile, you can always see various squirrels that know our garden as a feeding place (you can also feed them on your vacation – the food is available free of charge). In addition, in the immediate vicinity of the house, partly exactly above us, is the flight path of the cranes on their return from the winter. We usually see deer in the field every day. Come down, enjoy the view and recharge your batteries. We have made it our task to make you feel comfortable here, just like that… In addition, we would like to make you feel like going on our sun-downer jetty (sunset jetty), which leads you to the hammock stretched between two trees, on which the sunset can be enjoyed in peace. The layout of the house has been fundamentally changed, walls have been removed, rooms have been merged, so that today a house has been created that consists of a living room with open kitchen and open dining area, a master bedroom with double bed, a bright bathroom in shabby chic style and a small children's room, with pull-out bed (then for two people), rounded off by an inviting bright hallway. When furnishing, we rely on a mix of new and high-quality on the one hand, (new refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, new, high-quality fittings in the kitchen and bathroom, parquet, completely new power supply, new water supply) and on the other hand used, partly taken over from the house, partly purchased items, which we have reworked in the shabby-chic style. (The pictures hopefully speak for themselves) Wherever possible, we have taken care to proceed NATURALLY and sustainably. For example, the highest proportion of furniture is made of real or solid wood.
