Escape to Our Charming Gîte on the Banks of a beautiful River! Our cottage, RiverRun is located in an authentic and lively village, on the peaceful banks of the Lot river. This idyllic cottage, adjoining our main house (the former Octroi of Saint Geniez d'Olt - official tax building built in 1830), offers a perfect mix of tranquility and amenities. A charming pedestrian walk along the banks of the river takes you to the center of the village in five minutes. It is an ideal retreat in all seasons The space Our charming 2 bedroom cottage is attached on the west side of our main house (the former Octroi de Saint Geniez d'Olt -the official tax building constructed in 1830). We have designed the interior of our cottage with great care in order to give our guests a feeling of both charm and comfort. Our furniture design in the gite is high quality designed modern pieces, juxtaposed with beautifully crafted antiques.. A hand-painted mural on the wall of the mezzanine bedroom gives a theatrical ambiance. A beautiful antique red velvet bed in the main bedroom. A cosy wood-burning fireplace in the living area, to add warmth in the winter. Just outside of RiverRun is a charming pedestrian walk along the riverbank that takes you to the village center in just a few minutes. It's an ideal all-season retreat. Other things to note Final cleaning optional for €50 for stays of a week or more and €20 otherwise. Rules for animals: One dog maximum: no cats, no puppies. Pets are not allowed in the rooms (for allergy reasons) or on the sofa. They must never be left alone inside the gîte or outside. Guests are responsible for cleaning up dog mess in the garden ;) I just want to make sure before arrival that everything is clear and that travelers will be happy, and their dog too :).
