Have you ever slept on a floating bed, levitated a planet with a wand, played wizard's chess, spoken with a bird house, watched a heron hunt, crawled through a halfling door or fed goats by hand? At the Wizard's Roost you can do this plus much more. Animate a Pegasus, sample a Spider Crisp, go on a treasure hunt or find fairy houses all while staying in an A-C cabin with a full private bath. Built on the mythical site of Yarvard Hale School of Magic, this get away places you inside a dream. This is not a large space, although I have had people stay for a week or longer and given me great reviews. The farm itself offers plenty of room to stretch out. If you need a larger space please consider the SteamPunk Bunk House. First floor, private entrance. I enjoy interacting with my guests, but I'm more than willing to give all the space you desire. We usually meet the goats upon arrival, then I get you settled in. Go on country hikes or just relax by the pond side fire pit, while enjoying this 1825 farm. Yarvard Hale's original one room school house once sat on this exact location before it was quietly relocated after the Thompson witch trials of 1892. Lovingly restored by M.Maurice and Alecia Underhill, all are welcome here to enjoy this modern twist on wizardly ways. Just off 395, free plentiful parking. Plenty of great eating places of every price range. The airline state hiking trail runs along backside of property. In order to preserve water and offer a cost saving option I encourage my guests to bring their own sheets and towels. I can provide them for a fee of $20. (How does this save me money??? The alternative is that I include the $20 in the base price.) Please let me know either way. One Queen Size bed two smaller than twin beds. Also consider my Steampunk unit which has much more space and more traditional amenities, but with even more fun surprises. Or the Tree House, if sleeping in a tree is your thing. Or book a stay where you move from unit to unit. I rarely carry my phone when I'm on the property, thus calling me is the least effective way of communicating.
