Set to the background of a small historic rural township, tucked just out of sight of the beaten route to/from the Pacific Ocean and Oregon Dunes a short 16mi away at Reedsport.  Year round floating dock and river access all to yourself, different experience with each tide change, and kayaks provided. Otter, eagle, seal, fish, etc : a nature theme park! The space 16 ft Insulated Fully Weatherproof Dome just steps away from the Umpqua River, wildlife abounding with otters, ospreys, ducks, geese, loons, eagles, trout, bass, salmon, shad, and steelhead to name the most common, and even occasional visiting harbor seals! Summer: -Most of day sunny dock and property, bring your sunscreen and be ready to want to cool off in the river at high tide or play at the shallows of low tide and it's sandy beach. *Tent add-on available for up to 4 additional guests, upcharge applies Winter: - Slow down and cozy up with the woodstove while sinking into the serenity of a wildlife dominated river, tide coming and going and rain pattering. Small seasonal waterfall comes down the mountain directly across river adds extra ambiance. Guest access Private use floating dock and boat docking, summer low tides bring the dock sometimes as low as 0" deep while exposing the sandy beach, and transforming to sometimes 7ft deep with no beach at all, twice a day via current tide schedule. Standard rental includes the use of two 10ft sit-on kayaks w/paddles and vests provided. Kayaks and accessories for your whole family are available upon request with your reservation! Other things to note Be sure to check with your cellular provider to know how they do in the Scottsburg area, call and text typically work fine but some may find themselves with very poor or slow data in that area!
