A charming apartment located within the Grade 1 listed Layer Marney Tower! This apartment is situated within the main building of the Tower but benefits from its own private entrance and is completely self-contained. The apartment comprises an entrance lobby with a small kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, tableware for 2), a 5-piece modern bathroom (shower, bath, toilet, sink, bidet) and a magnificent master bedroom with a huge four-poster bed. A perfect romantic getaway in the country! The space Guests benefit from full access to the grounds of Layer Marney Tower. During the spring and summer months when the house and grounds are open to visitors, guests have a pass that gives them free entry, including the opportunity to climb to the top of the Tower. The grounds of the Tower include our gorgeous gardens, a range of animals (chickens, goats, sheep and of course our very friendly house dogs and cats), a children’s play area and lots of local footpaths. We will provide a list of further things to see and do whilst staying here, including local walking and bicycle routes, attractions and some of the finest pubs and restaurants in the local area! Please note the apartment will be fully equipped with towels, soap, coffee, tea and other essentials but there is no oven or hob (microwave, fridge and kettle only). This is really the perfect spot for a romantic weekend away or simply a countryside retreat!
