The space Upon entering the cottage, you’ll find a lounge with a coal-effect gas fire for those nippy evenings when you need a cosy place to relax. Enjoy your meals in the dining room, and notice the exposed beams, a relic of the building’s past. The kitchen, with its rustic flagstone floor, is ideally sized for your group and has everything you need for cooking up feasts or organising picnics. Head up the curved cottage-style staircase to find the bedrooms and a family bathroom. There’s a twin and a double, both comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. On sunny days, relax in the front garden sitting at the bistro set of garden furniture, or in the courtyard with the garden furniture and relaxers provided. You’ll have a gas BBQ for tasty treats, too. Aldeburgh is a lovely spot for a holiday. The beach is about 200 metres away, and you can amble along it to spot the giant scallop sculpture. There are plenty of places selling fresh fish and chips, so you can take food to nibble on while you sit on the sand. You’ll see boutiques and art galleries around the town to explore. Thorpeness is 2 miles away and also worth a visit, plus you can walk along the beach to arrive. Alternatively, try the opposite direction to find the Snape Footpath (0.5 miles) which has gorgeous views and offers a wonderful walking tour of the region.
