Description
The studio is just 5 minutes walking from Piazza Santa Croce and a little more from Piazza della Signoria, where it is Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery...you'll be surrounded by the beauty of the ancient downtown of Florence!! With a few minutes of pleasant walk you'll be in Piazza del Duomo, where there is Campanile di Giotto and Battistero, San Lorenzo Basilica and Market, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. The studio is very close to the School of Architecture and Biblioteca Nazionale. The space The loft is very nice, bright, quiet and on the 3rd floor, under the roof. The peculiarity of this place is the fully exposed Tuscan-style roof, with wooden beams, where there are two skylights that make the environment airy and very bright (the skylight on the living area has no darkening, therefore, if you need absolute darkness to sleep, I recommend that you provide yourself with eye masks, you can easily find them on the market for a few euros). Equipped with stylish decor and characterized by its natural light from above, it's the perfect combination of function, comfort and a good location in Historic downtown. Ideally suited for today’s business or leisure travelers, you’ll have all the privacy you need. There is a living open space, with terracotta floor, at the entrance of the studio. Here you can find a sofa, TV and a large wardrobe where you can put your clothes. A part of the living open space is the kitcken area. There is a table with chairs and a kitchenette, with Carrara marble countertop, that is equipped with fridge and microwave oven. There are dishes, water glasses and wine glasses, mags, little caps, cutlery, pots and essentials. This area is also illuminated by a window overlooking a little courtyard inside the building. In the cozy and bright sleeping space, on the mezzanine, there is a comfortable french double bed, 140x190cm, with a new mattress. It will be prepared for your stay with freshly washed, ironed and scented bed sheets. It's under the Tuscan-style roof and a skylight makes the environment airy and bright. In the windowed bathroom, covered with Carrara marble tiles, there are a washbasin, WC and a comfortable shower. You'll find freshly washed towels and a shower mat, some shower-shampoo and essentials. Free internet Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating. The studio is linen provided i.e. bath towels, bed sheets etc. The loft is on the 3rd floor, under the roof, and there isn't a lift (50 steps), like in many historical buildings here in the downtown. Guest access The studio will be totally available for guests, you'll receive the key at check-in and then you'll be free to come and go whenever you want. Other things to note About ZTL -limited traffic zone- area: in all historical downtown free car parks in the streets are only for residents; from Monday to Saturday after 8pm, till 8am, and on Sundays you can arrive with your car or motorbike at the house door to leave your luggage. The nearest and cheapest car park, inside ZTL area, is the "Garage Verdi" in Via Giovanni da Verrazzano 11. It's a guarded park and its cost is €35/day, it's less than 10 minutes walk to the studio, as you can check on Gogle Maps. Another parking lot, outside ZTL area, is the "Parcheggio Cimabue" in Via Cimabue 32r, this is a guarded park too and its rate is €20/day. It's only about 15 minutes walk to the studio, as you can check on Gogle Maps. Otherwise in Piazza Beccaria there is "Parcheggio Beccaria", it's an underground and guarded 3 levels parking area; its cost is €1,70/hour and it's about 10 minutes walk to the studio.
