The space Torpet consists of a beautiful main house dating back to the mid-18th century, carefully renovated to combine historic charm with modern comfort. Adjacent to the main house is a charming and comfortable guest cottage. From the garden and outdoor seating areas, you can enjoy views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. There are several spots for long dinners, relaxing in the sun, and spending quality time with family and friends. In the garden, you'll find your private wood-fired hot tub, perfect after a day by the sea, in the forest, or exploring the charming coastal villages and natural attractions of Bohuslän. The houses are located just 100 metres from the sea, with access to a swimming area, pier, and excellent opportunities for kayaking, swimming, and sauna bathing by the water. The surrounding area offers hiking trails and scenic destinations that allow you to experience Bohuslän up close. Torpet is also an excellent base for day trips to Bohuslän's picturesque coastal villages, restaurants, nature reserves, and rocky beaches, or to Gothenburg for shopping, culture, and entertainment. Information Before Booking • Pets are not permitted. • Torpet is intended for peaceful and relaxing stays. Parties, events, and additional guests beyond those included in the booking are not allowed. • Music must be kept indoors and at a low volume out of consideration for the surroundings. • For bookings of more than 6 guests, the separate guest cottage with its own sleeping accommodation and bathroom is included. During the rest of the year, it is located on the beach. • Two sauna sessions, including firewood for heating • Up to 4 hours of use (booked in 2-hour sessions) Wood-Burning Fireplace • Two generously filled baskets of firewood upon arrival (during the colder months of the year) *For most guests, this is more than sufficient for their stay. If you would like additional firewood, extra water refills, or additional hot tub heating, these can be purchased during your stay. Guest access As guests, you will have exclusive access to Torpet, including the private garden, outdoor seating areas, and wood-fired hot tub. You are also warmly welcome to enjoy the farm’s beach, pier, kayaks, wood-fired sauna raft, and sheltered outdoor picnic area. These facilities are available to guests staying on the farm and offer plenty of space for both relaxation and outdoor adventures. We kindly ask our guests to use firewood, water, and energy responsibly so that together we can help conserve the farm’s resources and protect the environment. During periods of dry weather and elevated fire risk, local restrictions may affect the use of wood-fired facilities and outdoor grilling. We always follow official recommendations and will inform you of any applicable restrictions. Here, the sea, nature, and tranquility await right outside your door. A warm welcome to Hällesdalens Gård! Other things to note In the house, you will find a selection of basic essentials, including spices, soap, and cleaning supplies. Charcoal for the barbecue is not provided and should be brought by guests if needed. Packing List for a Comfortable Stay • Sturdy shoes or boots. The house is located in the countryside, and weather conditions can change quickly. • A flashlight. During the darker months of the year, it can be useful if, for example, you visit the beach or the sauna raft after dark. • A camera or binoculars. There is a good chance of spotting wildlife such as deer, foxes, white-tailed eagles, seals, herons, and occasionally even moose.
