Description
This old barn, completely renovated, surrounded by woods and meadows, will offer you a peaceful and relaxing stay for the whole family in the countryside! Close to the woods, you can easily go on the hiking trails or do your morning jog! Here you will get a breath of fresh air, you will enjoy the calm, the tranquility, not to mention a spacious swimming pool and a pool house with bathroom, garden furniture and barbecue!! Ideal for nature lovers!! The space Description: Our cottage is located in a renovated old Gironde barn (classified as a furnished tourist accommodation). Surrounded by meadows and woods, the site is conducive to rest and relaxation, ideal for holidays in the countryside with family or friends. Inside: Comfortable and spacious, the gite offers a large kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, a shower room and two toilets and 4 bedrooms: - A purple bedroom with a double bed - A pink bedroom with a double bed and a single bed - A large bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 single bed - A mezzanine with 3 single beds Please note: - The large bedroom gives access to the mezzanine bedroom via a staircase. These two rooms are interconnected. - Sheets are provided, however we invite you to bring your towels and bath sheets. Outside: - Swimming pool with solar shower - Pool house with toilet, barbecue, garden furniture, etc. - Garden - Ping-pong, foosball - Swing Access to the cottage is via a small dead-end road, and you have a parking space in front of the accommodation. If you would like to stay with your pet, please contact us! Guest access Shops: Shops (bakery...) and supermarkets are located 10 minutes from the accommodation. You will also have the opportunity to discover our local weekly markets in the surrounding area (Mondays in Duras, Tuesdays in Sauveterre, Fridays in Monségur and Saturdays in La Réole) Activities: Here we are at the junction between the department of Gironde and Lot et Garonne and very close to the Dordogne. This situation offers an infinite range of discoveries!!! For example, you can visit the bastides and villages of the surroundings such as Monségur, La Réole, Sauveterre de Guyenne, Blasimon, Meilhan sur Garonne... And also the castles of the region, for example that of Duras, Nérac, Bonaguil in Lot et Garonne or those of Villandraut, Roquetaillade (Mazères), Malromé (former home of Toulouse-Lautrec in Saint André du bois) in Gironde. You'll have the opportunity to cool off in the pool of the cottage but also in the lakes of the region (Fontet, Blasimon, Casteljaloux) or thanks to the beaches along the Garonne (Marmande) or along the Lot (Clairac, Castelmoron sur Lot) Finally, we recommend discovering our magnificent rivers by canoeing on the Garonne, Dropt or Lot. You can also gain height by practicing tree climbing in Sainte Colombe de Duras or cycling along the Garonne canal or towards Bordeaux on the Roger Lapébie bike path! And also: - Bastides (Monségur, Sauveterre, Saint Macaire, Blasimon, Eymet, etc.) - Castles (Duras, Rauzan, Villandraut...) - Mills (Bagas, Cocusotte, Verdelais...) - City of Art and History (La Réole and Bazas) - Saint Emilion and Bordeaux (UNESCO World Heritage) - The most famous vineyards, including Médoc, Sauternes, Loupiac, Sainte Croix du Mont, Montbazillac, and the Côtes de Duras - Bassin d'Arcachon, Dune du Pyla - Fontet Nautical Stop - Canal Latéral de Garonne and its Voie Verte (along the canal) - Fishing, canoeing, golf - Farmer's and night markets with local products - Baths, Thermal Baths and Casino in Casteljaloux You have understood the outdoor activities and visits are not lacking in our beautiful region!!!
