This is a three bedroom brick home on the main street in Franklin. Quiet and safe setting in a very prestigious area in the community. You will love the quiet country like setting with the convenience of being very centrally located to the Detroit Metropolitan area. Franklin is known for the Franklin Cider Mill and was designated Michigan's first historic district. The quaint Franklin Village center is one mile away with restaurants and shops. This is a cozy, very clean home with good space for up to 6 adults. The home is sitting on nearly an acre lot with outside scenic views of woods, trees, stream and wildlife. All space is on one floor for easy access. There is a two stall attached garage and patio space outside. The kitchen and baths have been newly remodeled with granite countertops, wood cabinets and tile floors. The bedrooms all have comfortable beds with good closet space. The living area has seating for six, with a television and cable TV. There is a functional laundry room with a washer and dryer for guest use. The guests will have full access to all parts of the house. Free Wifi and Cable TV. Garage or driveway parking. My husband and/or myself am available to guest by phone or text if needed. In the event we are traveling or out of town, we will make our building supervisor available to you. Franklin Village is a unique historic enclave located in the northern suburbs of the Detroit Metro Area. It is convenient to all major freeways and only 20 minutes to downtown Detroit and the tunnel to Canada via the Lodge freeway. It is located a 30 minute drive from the airport. Minutes from the northern suburbs of Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills and Farmington Hills. The downtown village itself was founded in the early 1800's and hosts a lovely park area, some shops and a restaurant. The location is very Uber/Lyft friendly area with usually under a 5 minute wait. The cost for an Uber to/from airport is $35-$40. The cost for an Uber downtown is about $25-$30. We maintain the home with service contracts with various maintenance staff. If we have any appointments scheduled during your stay, we will attempt to advise you in advance. For guests with longer stays, we have housekeeping services available for an additional charge in the event you would like the house freshened. Recycling and trash pickup is early every Monday morning. We will come by Sunday evening to take the containers to the curb. The fireplace is for aesthetic purpose only and we ask that guests do not attempt to use it. We ask that guests eat in dining area and keep small children from dropping food around the house or staining bedding.
