Due to its location, you can enjoy of a magnificent sea view, the volcano of San Antonio and an area of lush pinewood, as well as a beautiful view of El Hierro island and a magnificent sunset. It is an ideal place to rest, to enjoy relaxing holiday and to hiking. In 15 minutes you can reach the beaches of El Faro, Echentive and La Zamora. Next to El Faro beach there are salines into production and a magnificient restaurant. The airport is located about 24 kilometers (30 minutes drive) and the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma is located about 26 km away (35 minutes drive). Its location makes it ideal to organize excursions to both the east side and the west side of the island. In addition to the salines and the beaches, in Fuencaliente you can visit Teneguía volcano, penultimate erupted volcano on La Palma Island (1971), since the last one, named Tajogaite, is of very recent date (September 2021) You can also visit San Antonio Volcano, whose crater is nearly perfectly circular. It erupted in 1677, burying the Fuente Santa (Saint Fountain), whose waters were widely used in ancient times due to its medicinal properties. Next to that volcano there is a thematic visitor’s centre where the history of the volcano is told. Other things to note The place is pretty quiet, making it ideal to rest. There is a backyard with privacy provided with a table, four chairs, a sunshade and two deck chairs. It can be used for sunbathing, rest and even to eat outside the house.
