North Lodge is a charming/cozy 1890's gate house

North Lodge is a late 19th century gate house, belonging to the Guyzance Hall Estate. It has been fully refurbished bringing it up to modern standards, but still retaining its old charm. With a cozy wood burner, there is a spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen leading out on to a south facing court yard, with a large garden surrounding it, and its own drive. The cottage is situated at the east end of the small hamlet of Guyzance, close to Walkworth and the beautiful Northumberland coast. The space You are booking a detached cottage with its own private garden, and entrance drive. We can offer at additional cost, access to any one of five beats of beautiful Salmon and trout fishing over 3.5 miles of the river Coquet ,or access to the halls beautiful walled all weather Tennis court. Just one dog allowed in the cottage, can’t be on any furniture or bedrooms. Guest access The cottage garden is solely for the use of the guests in the cottage. Just one dog allowed. Private river fishing on the River Coquet at Guyzance Hall or Tennis court can be booked, however neither are included in the price. Other things to note Just one dog allowed We can offer at GUYZANCE Hall Private river fishing on the River Coquet or Tennis court can be booked Both are not included in the price itself. Guests can bring bikes, it is an easy ride to go for dinner or coffee in Warkworth , Amble harbour ,or Alnmouth . For us as a family of 6 , it takes us about 30 mins to cycle to Amble for dinner, taking a scenic short cut over the river Coquet into Warkworth and on to Amble or in a car 5/10 mins .
