Double bedroom & lounge in quirky Georgian terrace
Double bedroom & lounge in quirky Georgian terrace
Description
Recently renovated, this Georgian terrace has been a labour of love for me after leaving London for Grantham 7 years ago. With an interior design/architecture and antiques obsession, you will never be short of something to look at. Its only a 10 min walk from the station or a 5 min drive off the A1. It is also less than a 5 minute walk into town with everything on your doorstep. The space I am in the creative industry, so I have gathered many things over the years which makes this place unique, from old window props to restaurant furniture. I share the house with Louie the rescue cat, who altough is fairly shy, can usually be tempted out by a few biscuits! Guest access You will have your own bedroom with a private bathroom. On top of that you also have your own private lounge to chill in. The only shared space will be the kitchen, which you are welcome to use to cook yourself some dinner. I'm no great chef so you will probably never see me in there, unless I'm making myself a brew! During your stay I will be available if you need me, and can recommend many places in the area to visit should you need any. I mostly work from home, and I am only a phone call away if you need anything. Other things to note I only take one booking at a time, so you will always be the only guests staying with me. I have a single garage which you are welcome to use during your stay, but as it is a tight turning, it can only house a small car (I have a VW golf so anything of that size or smaller will fit). If you have a larger car, there is on street parking in the next road, and there are plenty of public car parks around so we can usually work something out. The train station is only a 10 min walk away (or a couple of mins in a cab). This can get you straight into London Kings Cross in an hour.
