Please be aware that the property is not suitable for children under 12 years or todlers as the garden is on 3 terraces. We are located close to Todi in central Umbria , in an ancient village called Cecanibbi , which means "blind Hannibal " legend has it this is where Hannibal camped when injured in the eye, fighting the Romans 2200+ years ago . the area is steeped in history , and is one of the most visually stunning in central Italy. The perfect thing for us is to be able to take advantage of living in this wonderful area without suffering the inconvenience of being isolated from the real world, being only 5 minutes from all the things you need in the modern world. Our little "Borgo" is delightful, we have an super village hall that opens on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night serving pizza, pasta and roast meats all made and cooked in the kitchen by the local "Grandma's and Mum's". We are genuinely only 5 mins from Todi with the best preserved medieval piazza in Italy, delicious home made award winning Ice-cream at Pianganni, lovely wine bar and may restaurants to chose from. Locally to us there are many walks, horse riding is available, needs booking, and we have 2 mountain bike for your use on the many miles/kms of tracks and quite roads .
