Nestled amongst the beautiful forested hills of the Midi-Pyrenees, Papilio is spacious and comfortable with a retreat feel to the house and garden. The owner Hermione, has lovingly restored this 19th-century lodge and welcomes you to stay in her relaxed home. It is the perfect base for relaxing and unwinding. Prices negotiable The space The ground floor feels incredibly homely with hardwood floorboards throughout the living and dining areas, staircase and first-floor bedrooms. The attic bedrooms are comfortable and cosy containing plush carpet, wooden beams and natural light via dormer windows and skylights. All bedrooms have an attached bathroom, with a toilet, basin, combination bathtub and shower and heated towel rail. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary items to prepare your own meals, and the 12 person dining room is the perfect place to entertain. Papilio is centrally heated, however you will find yourself gravitating to the charming wood fire in the lounge during the winter months. In summer, cool off in the outdoor heated swimming pool, play on the trampoline and enjoy your meals at the outdoor table setting on the paved terrace. Off-street car parking is available for up to 4 vehicles. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the household. We have recently added an extra double room.. The annex.
