1 hour 15 minutes from Toulouse and Bordeaux, come and discover this 13th century bourgeois house with a swimming pool and a unique atmosphere with its 1 ha park on the edge of the river. Spacious, rustic and delightfully vintage thanks to its stylish decoration, which earned it to be chosen for the film Fête de famille by Cedric Kahn with Catherine Deneuve. This family home, which also belonged to the family of Raymond Barre, is a perfect base to discover the wonders of Gascony with the family. The space An amazing 10 m diameter round pool with wooden terrace and ping pong table will delight young and old, large fully fenced park for added security, without nuisance or overlooking. On the ground floor, the kitchen equipped with a large fireplace and ceramic worktop has a large country table and opens onto the adjoining dining room, hunting lodge style and equipped with a large solid wooden table with chairs. A separate living room with sofas, grand piano and TV is also available. There is a toilet on the ground floor under the majestic self-supporting stone staircase leading to the 1st floor. This floor accommodates the 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A toilet is available in the family bathroom, as well as another toilet (certainly one of the most amazing toilets you will ever see...) in the hallway. Outside, calm reigns, the house located in a small country hamlet 5 minutes from the Royal City of Nérac, birthplace of King Henry IV, offers no vis-à-vis and is located on the edge of the Baïse River on the edge of which you can circulate and fish if you wish (fishing license mandatory, fishing equipment not provided). The century-old trees bordering the house will provide you with the necessary shade for your outdoor meals. Garden furniture with tables and chairs is available, as well as some deck chairs by the pool (10 m diameter – 1.2 to 2 m deep), protected by a barrier in summer and open from June to September. The closed park will also allow you to park your cars safely. Bed sheets and towels are provided for each occupant. Final cleaning is included. KITCHEN EQUIPMENT - 4-burner gas cooktop -1 fridge in kitchen + 1 other large fridge and 1 small freezer in the laundry room - 1 electric oven - 1 ceramic double sink - 1 electric kettle, toaster, microwave - 1 dishwasher - 1 classic filter coffee maker - Kitchen basics provided and including: dishwashing liquid, 1 clean sponge, dishwasher tablets, clean dish towels, garbage bag + salt, pepper, oil and vinegar Guest access The entire property is reserved in full for the occupants of the House. Other things to note Bed sheets and towels (2/person) are provided for each occupant. Final cleaning is included, however the house must be returned in good order including the tidy kitchen and empty dishwasher, bed linens removed and all your garbage taken out. Minimum one week rental for July and August. From Saturday to Saturday. Long-term rentals are accepted from October to April. They include water, electricity, bed linens and towels with one change included. Heating is not included. Only one rule applies then: The fuel tank is full on arrival and must be returned full on departure. For any long-term request outside of these periods, please contact us beforehand.
