Juliet Cottage, a few minutes walk from the Castle

This charming stone cottage in the heart of the historic market town is very popular and well located. During school summer hols please only book either 3 nights from a Friday or 4 nights from a Monday. Please note that there is only a shower at Juliet Cottage. We do have a large baby bath for little ones who are staying. The space Juliet Cottage is a lovely cottage in a great location, very close to Alnwick Castle and Gardens and to all the little tea rooms, restaurants, shops and pubs in Alnwick. It is a lovely cottage and was built along side the original Alnwick town walls. We have been told that the row of cottages which include Juliet Cottage was built by the then Duke of Northumberland to house some Italian artisans who had come over to work at the Castle, just passing on the folklore! Guest access You will have the whole cottage to yourselves and we always advise guests to make themselves at home. There is a key box and so access is very easy. Other things to note There is a lovely small private patio area at the back of the cottage which isn't overlooked. The area backs on to the bottom of the Alnwick town walls and so it is very safe for little ones to potter about in. Our prices vary over the year, we have a three night minimum booking requirement and we are a lot cheaper if you book a week.
