Interior magnetic storm panels keep it quiet and cozy. Designer interiors, local and historic art, two large flat screen TV's , full kitchen and laundry and microweave sheets enhance your stay. Griffin's Lair has one 24/7 parking place and a loading area in a commercial mixed use historic property. A clothing boutique and antique shop downstairs provide unique shopping. Loading parking is located adjacent to iron entrance gates and is also available for evening parking. Additional 24/7 parking for guests with more than one vehicle is available three blocks away at my office. Guest access The private outdoor beautifully landscaped terrace overlooks the village. Biltmore village has 8 restaurants. Ruth's Chris is next door & Starbucks is just 2 houses away. The Richard Morris Hunt Cathedral of All Souls is across the street. Just 4 doors to Biltmore Estate entry. Minutes from downtown Asheville. Very Convenient to Asheville Rapid Transit (ART) bus stops 2 blocks away. Also, Gray Line Trolly Historical and Heritage Tours stops close by in Biltmore Village and continues with a great overall tour of Asheville. Other things to note The cottage apartment is upstairs and not accessible to those who are not able to climb a flight of stairs. The 8,000 acre Biltmore Estate above the low retaining wall is not available to guests, tickets must be purchased at the gatehouse. The outdoor terrace borders The Biltmore Estate grounds to add privacy and occasional wildlife. The rooftop is not to be climbed on. Children should be well supervised due to the art, antiques and potential dangers to children who climb.
