The space Seven Keys is an Adirondack Camp located on a Peninsula with amazing, unobstructed views of the lake and surrounding mountains - a truly unique property owned by the Johnstone family. The Camp has all you need for large parties and is furnished in the Adirondack style coupled with Asian art and selected paintings. You cannot help to relax in this space - enjoying your latte on the porch; hanging out on the dock; swimming across the lake to another beach, part of the same property, or simply reading a book inside (there are many books to chose from including English, German and French literature). During the winter season, enjoy cross country skiing right on the property, snowshoeing, ice fishing or skiing in one of the ski resorts. Light a fire in the fireplace and grab some of the board games or puzzles. All winter sports equipment can be bought or rented in Saranac Lake or Lake Placid. Guest access Access is easy via driveway right to the property with plenty of parking spaces. Saranac Lake is a 20min drive away with amazing stores (including an organic food store); restaurants and the newly renovated Saranac Lake Hotel with an outstanding lounge and roof top. Every Saturday you can drive to the Farmers Market and meet the locals. Other things to note Seven Keys was built on the property that formely housed the Seven Keys Hotel - one of the many Adirondack hotels that were operated in the 1920s and that were a top destination for New York City dwellers. There is much history behind this location and we hope you will experience the old world charm that our family cherishes so much.
