The main bedroom is very large and light, with a Kingsize bed, wall cupboards, wardrobe and a writing table. Wide French windows with a Juliet balcony are perfect for bird-watching - feel free to use the telescope. There are spectacular views over the fields and the marshes and deer and hares make a regular appearance. Egyptian cotton bed linen and comfortable beds will ensure a good night's sleep, and no light pollution means it's perfect for star gazers. The only noises you might hear at night are barn owls , muntjac , nightjars and nightingales. Amazing, panoramic views over the surrounding fields towards RSPB reserves on the River Alde marshes. Conveniently there is a loo and small washbasin upstairs too (adjacent to both bedrooms). The main bathroom is downstairs, and all towels are provided. In the large second bedroom there is a single bed but plenty of space for an additional cot or small mattress on the floor by prior arrangement. This room also has a comfy armchair perfect for reading. The walls are lined with a vast range of books, making this place a popular choice with readers, writers, or musicians wanting to practise before a concert. Wifi is provided free of charge, but guests are reminded that living in the sticks means that broadband speeds are not always what they're supposed to be, but generally good enough. Guest access The garden is shared and fully accessible but not enclosed. Other things to note You have your own private patio with dining table, chairs and barbecue. There is ample parking for cars in the yard and storage for bikes. Our cottage is just across the yard but totally separate. The shared garden is a haven for wildlife - at the moment we have a leveret ( baby hare) born in the garden so we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead to avoid mishaps! You are welcome to help yourself to apples and herbs. We have a very friendly cockerpoo but the garden is not totally enclosed, so dogs and children need to be closely supervised. It is a very peaceful, rural location but obviously at times there will be agricultural activity on the lane and in the fields opposite.
