2 story 1,152 sf waterfront cottage set among 200+ year old maritime oak trees. View sunsets from the porch overlooking Bouge Sound. The Crystal Coast/Cape Lookout area of NC. A kayakers paradise you can launch directly off the shore in front of the house. Lots of steps to 12 ft high deck overlooking water. Open floor plan downstairs and 2 bedrooms up. Walkable neighborhood. Beach is 2/10 mile. 3 restaurants, Marina and pub, ice cream shop, and fresh Fish Mkt 150 yards away. 3 night minimum stay The space 2 bedrooms ( 1 w/ a full bed and 1 w/ a queen bed) upstairs with a full bathroom and a 2nd shower room between the 2 bedrms. Downstairs is one large living room/kitchen/dining area, and a 1/2 bath is under the stairs. There is a queen size sofa couch in the living area. The covered back porch is 32x8 and a great place to spend a rainy day watching the sound. Carpet is upstairs in the bedrooms, downstairs is linoleum. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water is behind the storage room at ground level. Covered parking is available under the house and additional parking is located beside steps leading up to the first floor. 5 beach access areas (all w/ free parking) less than 1 mile away. Guest access Up to 3 car spots are available with one being under the house out of the sun. Other things to note There are 3-4 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, and 1 surf board available for use by guests. The sound is your swimming pool. We advise you wear water shoes in the sound. Each guest will be provided one bath towel and one washcloth for their stay. Please bring your own beach towels. Travel size soap bars provided in full bath. Each bed will have a set of sheets and pillows available for use. We do have a queen size sofa sleeper bed in the living area with sheets and pillows provided if needed.
