Description
The Tiny Manor is a unique, small terraced cottage centrally located in the historic market town of Richmond, known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. The space Visit our Insta page: TheTinyManor for videos and inspiration. Richmond is an ideal location for those wanting to explore the Dales, or for ‘Coast to Coast’ walkers but also for those who want a getaway to enjoy the beauty of the town itself. Richmond offers town walks around the waterfalls and the Castle. There are museums, art galleries as well as many cafes, pubs, restaurants and independent shops. There is also a small independent cinema in the converted ‘old station’ close to the Easby Abbey walking route. This also includes a cafe and ice cream parlour. The cottage itself is owned by an Interior Architect, so offers a unique space in which to relax and unwind amongst art and photography. The cottage is very much a part time home so we ask you respect it as if it were your own but welcome those openly who enjoy experiencing interesting interiors. Enjoy a long day out exploring the local area and then kick back with one of the many design books or a good film. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a range of wonderful cookbooks. This home is an extremely happy and colourful space inspired by the culture of Mexico where the owner spends a lot of her time. This home is perfect for quiet couples who have an appreciation for the art and design world and want something a little different! A small welcome basket of local jams, fresh bread and milk will be left for you to enjoy on your arrival. There is a smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player with a large range of films, if you want something more old school. The kitchen has a stable door which looks out onto a small shared communal garden. The area outside the kitchen window has a small bench that can be used to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun. But please be mindful of the lovely neighbours. Guest Access & Surroundings Free parking on the street, on a first come first serve basis (it is very rare not to be able to park). However, there is a public car park 1 minute's walk away ( £4.50 up to 10 hours or £15 weekly). You are able to park in the market area for a 2 hour period with a parking disc that can be obtained from most of the local cafes or shops. Just ask!
