Description
The Stables has been converted and provides a high quality, cosy property, set in beautiful West Sussex countryside. Situated within the grounds of Highbuilding, the property is located in the South Downs National Park. It is within close proximity to Cowdray (15 minutes), Petworth (20 minutes), Goodwood (25 minutes) and the South Coast (West Wittering 45 mins, Bosham 35 mins). The space The property has its own gated entrance and secure, private courtyard with parking. The courtyard has outside seating and a BBQ. The Stables is finished to a high standard, is well equipped, comfortable and warm. We have installed a sustainable ground source heat pump which supplies underfloor heating throughout. Accommodation is all at ground level with the main entrance into the kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is new and well equipped with ample room for a table and four chairs. Standard kitchen appliances plus a Nespresso coffee machine and toaster. The sitting room is spacious and light with substantial corner sofa and TV plus day bed. Separate bedroom with king-sized bed and bath/shower room/wc. The Stables can sleep up to 4 people very comfortably. The day bed (in the sitting room) can either be set up before arrival as twin beds or a super king bed. We provide free broadband, Freesat TV (not Sky) and a DVD player. There is a washing machine and a small drying rack / washing line only, I’m afraid no tumble drier. However, for longer stays, we can offer a laundry facility that is collected from The Stables, this would be an extra cost. For longer stays of more than a week, cleaning, laundry of towels and sheets is provided. Swimming: - The pool is heated from May to September. - We ask that guests let us know when they want to swim and we work out (each time) an hour that works best for both us and the guest. - The pool is accessed through the small gate and yours to use but we ask that before it is used by guests, we organise suitable times for us both. This is to prevent damage to the cover and to allow us to remove the drainage system. - Please contact me on arrival to plan times for swimming. - The outside shower must be used before swimming and you are welcome to use it afterwards. Please do not use the pool house. - No suntan cream please, for children, if UV vests could be warn instead it helps to keep the pool clean and chemical free as much as possible. - There is a large box full of toys if you would like to use them, just pop them away afterwards please. - Please bring your own pool towels. A very polite reminder that the garden on our side of the gate is for our private use. Guest access The entire courtyard within the gates is yours to use as you wish. Feel free to move the garden furniture to suit you. Please can it be moved back before you leave. There is also a barn if you would like to store bikes etc. Swimming: - The pool is heated from May to September. - We ask that guests let us know when they want to swim and we work out (each time) an hour that works best for both us and the guest. - The pool is accessed through the small gate and yours to use but we ask that before it is used by guests, we organise suitable times for us both.
