Description

Robinson's hut - back to nature and simplicity, yet comfortable. peace, seclusion, freedom, lake, barbecue, fishing, reading, boating, surfing, sailing, cycling, wine, taverns, Burgenland, pile building The space Robinson's hut - back to nature and simplicity, yet comfortable. peace, seclusion, freedom, lake, barbecue, fishing, reading, boating, surfing, sailing, cycling, wine, bush giving, Burgenland, pile building The power supply is only via solar, therefore the equipment of the hut is simpler and less "electric", i.e. hot water, cooking and heating is done with gas. However, there is refrigerator, (small) TV, radio, and electric light, 230 volt sockets. In spring and autumn, when the weather is bad for days, there might be a current shortage. Although this has never been the case, the solar system was newly built in June 2019 and very generously dimensioned. This note is for completeness only and as a precaution. The shower is located in a small outbuilding, about 3 m next to the cottage and is visually protected, but simple. Robinson feeling simple :-) Hot water is also available in the shower. Unique living right in the middle of the nature reserve, right in the water. Wake up overlooking reed and lake. For breakfast on the terrace, maybe a few ducks will come by. Unique feeling of nature. I'm not on site. The pile construction is exclusively available for the guests. If you have any questions, I can of course be reached by phone. The center of Rust is in about 10 minutes walking distance. There are bakers, grocery stores, café, restaurant, taverns,... Parking for the accommodation with barriers available (for 1 car). The pile construction has a floor area of about 45 m2 and stands on a plateau of about 100 m2. Due to the "tent shape" there are many roof slopes, i.e. the real usable space in the house is small, but life always takes place with the sliding door open, so that the terrace also "becomes the living room". There is only 1 room, all 5 beds are in this room: a double bed and a single bed on the ground floor, a double bed (slatted base with mattresses, not a complete bed with legs and head for space reasons) directly under the roof and can only be reached by a ladder. This bed is therefore not recommended for young children or persons with reduced mobility. A simple rowboat with a small electric auxiliary motor is available and is available free of charge. Guest access A small, simple rowing boat with electric motor (for about 5 people at calm sea, otherwise less) is available and "anchors" right in front of the house. It's not a racing boat, but it's nice to ride it out to the lake at sunset and swing around the lake a little bit. Fishing equipment (3 rods, fishing license can be bought in the village). Gas grill. Nespresso. Satellite TV. Other things to note The pile construction has a floor area of approx. 45 m2 and stands on a plateau of approx. 100 m2. Due to the tent shape, there are many roof slopes. There is only 1 room, all 5 beds are in this room: a double bed (with the unusual dimensions 190 x 150, but then in the 70s/80s ALL cabins were built in this way) and a single bed (sofa, 3 m x 1.20 m) on the ground floor, a double bed (slatted base with mattresses) directly under the roof and can only be reached with a steep ladder, for small children or persons with limited mobility the upper bed is therefore not recommended, but highly popular with children from 8 or 10 because it is reminiscent of a tree house. The house stands on the bottom of the lake, which I rented from the free city of Rust. The water supply and sewerage system will be switched off by the city of Rust in the event of a risk of frost. Therefore, the house can only be inhabited from the beginning/middle of April and only until about the end of October (sometimes until mid-Nov.). I can therefore not guarantee that the house is habitable during these fringe times and am therefore not obliged to pay compensation if it should therefore not be possible to live there. Conversely, you as my guest are entitled to a free cancellation if the city of Rust turns off the water due to the risk of frost. Of course, but for the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned.
