Escape to the countryside! In the Leemgaard you will immediately feel at home, 10 km south of Groningen city on Drentse Aa National Park: best of both worlds. The farmhouse with garden/terrace is completely private, located on Pieterpad, bordering the Appèlbergen nature reserve. Unobstructed view of Onneresch, bright living-dining room, underfloor heating, wood stove, open kitchen, all appliances, two bedrooms, bathroom, bathtub, shower, double sink, 2 separate toilets, WiFi, games. Railway 250 m, Eelde airport 5 km. The space The characteristic and rural farmhouse offers atmosphere, comfort, privacy and a private sunny garden on the southeast with a sheltered terrace. Upstairs is the spacious double bedroom with comfortable bed of 1.80 x 2.10. The adjacent bathroom has a double sink, bathtub, shower, underfloor heating, hairdryer, and a separate toilet. Downstairs is another bedroom with 2 beds of 0.90 x 2.00 and can also be made up as a double bed with top mattress of 1.80 x 2.00. A crib is available upon request. The bright living/dining room with underfloor heating, large windows and unobstructed views over the beautiful Onner Es is appreciated for the cozy sitting area with wood stove and the large dining table where you can eat, dine and play games. The spacious open kitchen is equipped with all appliances: a 4-burner induction cooktop, extractor hood, combi microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, dishes, cutlery, glasses. Everything is available for a cup of coffee, Nespresso or tea. Guest access The accommodation includes the entire, as good as detached, farmhouse with sheltered garden. House and garden are entirely for private use and are not shared with others. We live in the adjacent/rear barn house with all privacy for guests and ourselves. Other things to note Pets: Your dog is welcome in its own basket or bench downstairs (not allowed in the bedrooms and on the furniture) at €15 per stay. Unfortunately, cats or multiple dogs are not allowed. The garden is partially fenced and has an open connection to the dead-end Dalweg where there is limited local traffic. There is (still) no leash requirement in the adjacent nature reserve Appelbergen. Public transportation/traffic: The nearest bus stops are about 1 km, Haren train station 4 km, Eelde airport 5 km. The railway at 250 meters is sometimes audible in certain weather conditions. Eelde Airport is 5 km away, there may be noise from (lesson) aircraft. Other: *There is no elevator, the floor with bedroom and bathroom is accessed via the stairs. *De Leemgaard is non-smoking. *No parties are allowed.
