During the summer our house on Skolgatan became a gem of the street. In the typical Swedish yellow color it radiates towards you and it is surrounded by the garden. On the ground floor are the bathroom, sparkling new kitchen, dining room and cozy living room. In the 1. Floor there is a double room, a single room, a room with bunk bed + extra bed and a small laundry room. Directly behind the garden you get into the forest. From the house you can see the beautiful "Uvasjön" (Eulensee) and of course you can quickly walk to the water. A little further there is a jetty where our rudder / motorboat lies. On foot or by car one reaches the public bathing place, if one feels like a refreshing bath or just to laze on the lawn. You can walk along the lake or cycle on mountain bikes. There are shops in Alsterbro (10 miles), Alstermo (12 miles) and in Nybro (30 miles), a very nice town, there is really everything: various supermarkets including Lidl and Systembolaget where alcoholic beverages are available. Fröseke is located in the middle of "Glasriket" and almost every village has its own glass factory. A visit to Pukeberg Glasbruk in Nybro is worthwhile. There are many attractions: Kosta (40 km) has a large outlet center where the famous glass art of Orrefors and Kosta Boda is exhibited. It is advisable to reserve some space in the trunk for the purchases! On the way you will pass Grönåsens Älgpark, which is also worth a visit. Kalmar, a beautiful city on the coast with a castle. From there you can get over the bridge to the beautiful island of Öland with its characteristic windmills and beaches.
