Casa Morivivi is located in the meadows of Juncos, in a one acre lot that forms part of a 30 acre private family farm. Admire the beautiful Puerto Rican countryside with dreamy views of the eastern mountains and El Yunque, right from your backyard. This is a place where you can see and feel the real Puerto Rico with the privacy of your own home and yard. Here you will find outdoor seating areas to relax in, fruit trees to pick, and household amenities that ensure a more than pleasant stay. The space The place is a traditional country dwelling in Puerto Rico, built by our grandparents to be airy, bright, and stormproof. We recently renovated the place, therefore you will have new kitchen appliances with fully equipped cabinets to use freely. The two available rooms have new beds, sheets and towels. The kitchen connects to an outdoor seating and dining area that faces our garden and large yard with a view; breakfast here is magical. Outside you'll find several seating areas and a lot of grassy space, perfect for an afternoon barbeque (brand new bbq grill) and outdoor recreation (sports balls, frisbee, slackline, etc. provided). You can grab a camping chair or use our hammock to read a book in the shade below the trees, or work on your laptop from anywhere in the property with our mobile wifi hotspot. In the evening, light the fire pit with our provided firewood and relax around it watching the stars. Guest access The house and one acre fenced yard is all yours to explore. You'll enter through a private driveway with a gate and park right in front of the house. The back of the property opens to a 30 acre private family cattle pasture with free roaming cows and horses. Even though the cows and horses in the farm are non-aggressive, we do not allow guests to venture out there unless you have booked a horse-back riding tour with us or wish to do a guided hike/run. Other things to note Please be aware and conscious that you will be staying in a rural part of Puerto Rico, where farm animals are everywhere and wildlife is in abundance. Expect to find lizards, insects, and birds around the outside of the house; possibly even inside if you leave doors open. You will most likely wake up to the sound of roosters and go to sleep serenaded by the coqui frogs. We also host culinary experiences through Airbnb.
