The cottage is ideally situated as a base for visiting the Yorkshire Wolds, The Yorkshire Coast, The North Yorkshire Moors and the City of York. The space The Old Forge is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break whatever the time of year. With 3 spacious bedrooms it can sleep up to 6 people in either 2 King Size bedrooms & 1 Twin, or 2 Twins & 1 King Size. The choice is yours. A cot is also available for children under 2. The spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area is the ideal space for all the family to relax together at the end of a busy day sightseeing. The property has underfloor heating throughout, and in winter guests also have use of the cosy wood burning stove. The Old Forge is located in the quiet, but pretty village of West Lutton, and has easy access to many local attractions. Two of Yorkshire's great Country Houses Scampston Hall & Sledmere House are both just a stone's throw away, and slightly further afield is the almighty Castle Howard. If you fancy a day at the seaside there is a lovely flat sandy beach at Hunmanby Gap, just 20 mins drive away, or you can take a trip to Scarborough or Whitby. A day out in the ancient city of York is also a must . The Yorkshire Wolds are great for both walking & cycling and family friendly attractions include Flamingoland Theme Park & Zoo, Go Ape in Dalby Forest and Playdale Farm Park. Guest access The Old Forge is a 4 Bedroom Property, but guests booking as a 3 Bed will have access to either 2 King Size & 1 Twin Bedroom, or 2 Twins & 1 King Size. In both cases you will have access to 2 Bathrooms, one of which is an En-Suite Shower Room to one of the King Size Bedrooms. The remaining bedroom will be locked. There is also a family bathroom and open plan Kitchen, Dining & Living Area.
