This fully renovated and extended, delightful 2 bedroom cottage is located in the heart of the beautiful market town of Wetherby. Privately situated at the end of a mews terrace with flexible accommodation and large breakfast kitchen with full width bifold doors Wetherby town centre with its extensive range of coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shops is only 2 minutes from your front door. Also river walks, beautiful riverside parks and local cinema and indoor pool are just on your doorstep. The space Number One has the perfect blend of comfort and town centre convenience situated very privately but close to the middle of town. We want to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as we possibly can so we have equipped our beautiful home with everything you’ll need for a fantastic stay and as a base to explore the surrounding area and amazing North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire countryside. Tastefully renovated, this Wetherby cottage boasts a vaulted breakfast kitchen extension with largeVelux windows, gated front and rear gardens and authentic Georgian sash windows all-round. Facilities We have two bedrooms, one of which can be made up with either two comfortable single beds or one very comfortable superking size bed and plus a characterful separate single bedroom with two full size single bunk beds. The living room has a double sofa bed, which means the property can sleep up to 6 people. The large breakfast kitchen area allows for separate socializing away from the lounge area. Fresh bedding and towels are provided for each new guest and there is on-site secure parking for one or two vehicles. Lockbox access when required. The breakfast kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, oven/hob, microwave, kettle, large fridge/freezer, and other essential items such as dishwasher, combined washer/dryer and ironing board and iron. Cutlery, crockery and cooking items are provided for your convenience. There's even breakfast cereal, bread and milk and fresh fruit provided for each new guest. 55" flat screen TV with Sky TV entertainment is available in the lounge and fast Wifi allows you to keep up with emails and social media. Travel cot and high chair are available on request. *As responsible hosts, we deep clean and disinfect all surfaces and handles between guest stays. Fitness Suite For fitness enthusiasts, Matthew and Lynn run a fitness business locally and guests are invited to use their fully equipped fitness studio and/or take part in a boot camp session during their stay for no extra charge. Surrounding Area The River Wharfe wends its way around and through Wetherby and affords beautiful riverside walks past and under the town’s weir and bridge. For entertainment, Wetherby boasts a full range of shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, traditional market square and it's own cinema 150 metres from your front door. Wetherby’s origins are as a staging post for travellers between Edinburgh and London. It lies close to the A1 (M) and is centrally located between Harrogate, York and Leeds and is ideally located to visit West and North Yorkshire. The famous Wetherby Racecourse lies at the edge of the town and historic houses including Harewood House, Bramham Park and Newby Hall are all within easy reach as are Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land theme parks and, of course, the Yorkshire Dales. Any of these destinations will provide a great day out. Wetherby lies immediately next to the award winning village of Boston Spa, recently voted the best village to live in, in the North of England Desirable wedding venues including Woodhall Spa, Rudding Park and ‘The Normans’ at Bilborough all lie very close by.
