The property is part of a 16th century former farmhouse, set in the centre of an unspoilt Somerset village, just a short walk to a gorgeous pub serving locally sourced food & drink. The space With a stone floor, oaks doors and thatched roof it's the picture of a romantic country cottage, but now updated and fully restored with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Its rural location makes it a great escape for those looking for a countryside bolt-hole, with two great pubs within a short walk and things to see and do nearby, and convenient shopping at the village shop or in the quaint town of Ilminster just 2 miles away. Bedrooms There are two gorgeous bedrooms, with deep mattresses, cotton bedding, and super fluffy pillows, so you can settle in and truly relax. The first bedroom has a French style king-sized bed The second bedroom can be arranged as a super king-sized double or as two single beds. Bathroom The bathroom has a large, walk-in rain-head shower. Living areas The house has a dual aspect open plan living/dining/kitchen area for four people. The sitting area has comfortable sofas and is equipped with a 42' flatscreen smart TV The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a central island, an electric two oven Aga, microwave, dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer and a washer-drier. The oak front doors open out to a sheltered, fully enclosed courtyard with your outdoor table and chairs for alfresco eating or just enjoying a morning coffee.
