Landegode, The Sun-Room, Annastua Homestay

Welcome to a piece of pleasant life at beautiful Landegode Island. Annastua is a cute little Homestay. The Sun-Room is romantic, comfortable and convenient, and has a great view. Breakfast can be served on request at extra cost. Bathroom, kitchen, livingroom and garden is shared with hosts and other guest. Only personal requests accepted. Not suitable for kids or pets. Not accessible by car. Make sure to check boat timetables before booking. Please contact host in case of any questions. The space Anna was the telegraphist at Landegode, and Annastua used to be the telegraph as well as her home. The house is well kept, tastfully restored and furnished to give a cosy nostalgic atmosphere. Especially the loft, where all bedrooms are located, is a gem with its old style interior. All rooms has modern comfort and electricity. Downstairs has normal modern amenities, such as wc, shower/hotub, warm water, Wi-Fi and a fully functional kitchen. No TV. Outside there is a small porch and a small garden. The local grocery store is in walkable distance, and open a few hours, six days per week. Guest access Kitchen and bathroom is always accessable to guests. Everyone is responsible for keeping common areas tidy and as clean as possible. The common livingroom is open to guests between 10.00 and 22.00. Guests are also welcome to use the porch from 10.00 to 22.00 During your stay We always respect our guests privacy, but will be happy to hang out if you initiate it, and if we have the time. You should also always feel free to ask in case you need practical information, or if you have any questions about the house, the island or the region. If we are not around we will be available on phone. Other things to note Before booking you should know that only Telenor mobile network/4G is available on the island. There is free WiFi at the house. But not enough for online gaming, serie binging or up/downloading big files. You should also make sure to check, or ask about the boat timetable while planning your trip. The island is not accessible by car If you plan on hiking or spending time outdoors be aware that there are very few marked hiking trails. The terrain can be a bit tough and the weather can change quickly. Consult a local if you are not an experienced hiker or used to this type of terrain. Also, please help us keep our clean, wild and peaceful nature, as well as vibrant birdlife. You can do so by sticking to allready walked paths, and beeing aware not to make unnecessary noise. Bring all waste (including toilet paper) back, and make sure to do your '' business'' far from paths, and popular excursion/camping sights. Cover with moss, branches and or rocks, if you are not able to dig a hole 😉. Only make fire at secure fireplaces close to a water source. This also applies for use of disposable grills.
