Helnæs; beautiful nature and tranquility.

We chose to move to Helnæs 20 years ago because the nature here is unique. You notice it as soon as you drive across Langøre, which is a naturally created dam. It is our only connection to the outside world. The space The house is large and you have your own entrance and the entire 1st floor available with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, toilet and shower. However, the kitchen is primitive with the following: microwave, new induction hobs, new large oven, refrigerator and freezer. But no dishwasher. If you want to eat out, there is a nice inn on the island. Helnæs Kro. In Assens, there are several good restaurants. We have a campsite on Helnæs where you can buy ice cream, sausages and drinks. In Ebberup, there is a large Spar supermarket with a very large selection of groceries, good wines and nice fresh bread and cakes every day. You drive through Ebberup just before you turn off towards Helnæs. So buy in advance. It is 12 km from the house to the nearest store. Guest access You have your own entrance. We use a different entrance. On the 1st floor is your Airbnb. There are 2 rooms, a repos with kitchenette and a bathroom with shower cabin, toilet and sink. This is at your disposal and is not used by others. The repos is furnished as a single kitchen, with refrigerator and freezer, new induction hobs, new oven, service, dining table and chairs for 4. You can always use parts of the garden. If we are not at home, the whole garden is at your disposal. However, the terrace is never at your disposal as it is too close to the private area.
