It is a simple home kept in 70-80's Retro/Vintage style and has all basics you need to "survive" comfortably at a highly affordable rate. If you need thrill or fancy then this home may not be for you (may be find something where they thrill you with fancy rates). We are located North/East Norman getting you quick from and to I-35. 5 min to Downtown, OU Campus, hospitals, Westheimer Airport. The space Note: We did not get spared from the heavy hail storms this year and two windows got broken in the kitchen and boarded up. Getting insurance assistance and contractors is taking time and we appreciate your kind understanding and patience as we get things fixed up again. The house is still comfy to live in though . You are looking at an entire home with 3 bedrooms, one bath, living room with 3 sofas of which one turns into a queen bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer is also available.. "Instant book" is not available because I also rent the rooms individually and will have to see if those are vacant before you book, Thus if you would please check with me if the entire house is still available for you I'll be happy to welcome you here. In case it is not available, I may suggest another one of my 4 homes located in Norman. This 3 bedroom home used to be a rental and we finished preparing it with some minor details still needing to be attended. Nevertheless, in the meanwhile we decided to make the home available to travelers who appreciate accommodations at a very reasonable rate. Despite that some things need to be upgraded still (i.e. upgrade bathroom, windows) this place is yet comfortable and has everything you need to replenish and "survive". We are true to the origins of Airbnb (except the air mattress) where you are welcomed in a humble home where people live and you may feel like home away from home. We just recently redecorated the home and you may feel like entering a museum - and some review critics smartly pointed out that "everything is just old" - but that is the point. You will be taken back to the early 60s, 70s and 80's where the 'older' generation may get a smile out of seeing daily used items from those 'ol' days' and the younger generation may get an opportunity to look at outdated gadgets that once were considered "state of the art" Your rooms are decorated in Historic Route 66 themed style, Retro Coke style and Good ol'Days Diner's decor and all have smart TV, desk, closet and dresser. No, the phones are not hooked up but you sure may play with it and get a feel like we made calls in the 70's and 80's. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your meals and is for everyone to use. There is also complementary coffee to wake up right , no matter what time of the day. ;) We have a table outside in the back yard so you may dine with birds and squirrels as your guests. Washer,dryer, iron/board , we got that for you too. Now, before you book: Please be so kind and have read all what we are offering. You are looking at a private entire house that has decades of living under its roof and nothing is shiny brand new. Know what to expect in an older home and not a hotel and how little you will pay for all the conveniences accessible to you. If you want hotel service then please go there . But if you understand that you will be welcomed in a HOME that is aimed to make you feel like home then please accept our invitation to come over and be our guest.
