Garden house by the vineyard Welcome! In our garden house, depending on the booking, there are up to 3 bedrooms, each with its own shower and toilet, a kitchen and living area as well as a terrace and garden (south side). This takes you directly to our own small vineyard, with fantastic views over the sea of vines to the Haardt Mountains. ….and you can start hiking, biking, wine tasting and much more, …..or just relax. The space In the spring of 2020, we completely refurbished the garden house and in the meantime a lot has also changed in the garden. We built a spring stone, planted two small raised beds, planted a fig tree and three currants and expanded our flower bed. We'd love for you to use the herbs, fruits, tomatoes, etc. from the garden in the kitchen or just "snack" on them. The terrace and garden lead to our second "patio" overlooking the vineyards and the Haardt Mountains. In a quiet location, our garden house offers the following amenities: Bedroom s: 3 each with shower and toilet, (1 double bed, 4 single beds, can be pushed together to form a double bed), towels and bed linens included. Living and kitchen area: with ceramic range, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, electric grill, egg cooker, toaster, LED TV, DAB radio, Wi-Fi... Terrace and garden (south side) with seating. Parking for 3 cars Garage for bicycles. The small wine village of Böchingen is located in the middle of the vineyards just 2 km from the Haardt Mountains. This belongs to the Palatinate Forest Nature Park – the largest contiguous forest area in Germany – where you can explore over 50 medieval castles and palaces. The low mountain range is crisscrossed by a close-knit network of trails. Hikers, climbers and bikers can enjoy fascinating views on their tours, marvel at bizarre rock formations made of colorful sandstone and quench their thirst and hunger in managed forest huts. In the district with the highest average temperatures in Germany, you can also expect almond tree chestnuts and walnut tree avenues. Figs, kiwis and citrus fruits thrive here. …and of course you will find in the Palatinate a selection of the best wines that can be tasted directly at the winemaker as well as unique gastronomic establishments that are happy to welcome you.
