The South Stable is a unique, recently redecorated stable with a little bit of Morden rustic country living thrown in. A beautiful renovation with wool carpets, handmade kitchen and top-end appliances, its scrumptious dark green bathroom with walk-in shower, roll-top bath and plaster walls. We've furnished the with many modern touches, large original art, pottery, uncovered original beams, oak storage, and a complete underfloor heating system. We look forward to welcoming you. Andrew & Rachel The space Welcome to the South Stable and Crabtree farm - A modern rustic two-bed country stable with heaps of natural wood beams, balanced with modern fixtures. A beautiful retreat and a different kind of country getaway. The South is a stunning, recently redecorated Stable. Completed in the summer of 2020, the landscape is reflected in the design with plenty of natural greens, warm greys and dusky pinks with organic textures and locally-made art pieces. Our family home - Crabtree Farm is an 18th century Grade II listed farmhouse situated on the outskirts of the rural village of Hastingleigh, an area of outstanding natural beauty high on the Kent Downs. We have two cosy converted stables, the north and south, backing on to 10 acres of beautiful open fields. We have animals on the farm, including sheep, chickens, cats and a dog, and lots of free-roaming wildlife. Crabtree Farm is located along a quiet country lane and is surrounded by England's best countryside, with many great walks, drives and attractions (an abundance of heritage sites and fun places to go for families). With a short drive/walk, you're in the Wye national nature reserve - a place to experience spectacular wildlife, hiking trails & sweeping views. We also have the North Stable for let should you require more space for family or friends. Please note: Our AirB&B service fee is now included in the nightly rate. Guest access Feel free to walk the fields in search of wildlife like; wild rabbits, pheasants and grouse. You can access all the fields and shared spaces. Kids can use the giant trampoline, sports field and sand pit. Other things to note PETS: If you have a dog and wish to book the South Stable please get in touch first to discuss. We do NOT accept pets unless previous agreed. We do have other guest, so please no music outside and respect each other. The single beds can be joined to make a King Bed base, which includes the single duvets. We currently don't have a shared washer or tumble dryer, but we are happy to take to take some washing and dry in our own equipment. Wedding stays are at request only and extra charges may apply.
