The Alpine Style lodge is set in a wooded valley in the Tamer Valley. Ideal to visit Dartmoor and many lovely beaches on the North or South coast of Cornwall and much more. Dogs welcome The space There are 3 bedrooms downstairs , the main bedroom has Jack and Jill bathroom with over bath shower . There is a separate shower room with WC and basin. There is another large bedroom with 2 single 3ft wide beds, the smaller bedroom as 2 small singles only being 2ft 6ins wide being more suitable for children. Upstairs is the well equipped kitchen with full size cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. under counter fridge and separate freezer. The lounge/diner is furnished with 2 large sofa's. Dining table and chairs for 6 person's , Smart TV with free view channels and separate DVD player. There is a large window with glass door opening onto large wooden balcony which has patio furniture. Free WiFi in lodge which is wireless and due to property being in a wooded valley can be temperamental at times. Stair gate, travel cot and baby chair is available free of charge. Other things to note Honicombe Manor Holiday Resort offers many facilities on site, including a bar/restaurant, heated outdoor pool (summer only), indoor heated pool with children's splash pool (open all year expect Christmas and New year day), a games room, and fitness centre. There is also a 2 children's play area;s and outdoor tennis courts. Honicombe Manor Holiday Resort is set in the Tamar Valley on the Cornwall/Devon boarder and is ideal as a base to visit both counties. There are a number of National Trust and English Heritage properties to visit and enjoy within the area, including nearby Cothele House and Launceston Castle, to name just two. Within a 30 minute drive you can visit either the north or south coast of Cornwall, as well as the Naval town of Plymouth with its shops, restaurants and Aquarium. For golf lovers St Mellion Golf course is a 10 minute drive away.
