The casa del morpho azul has been designed to offer an eco-friendly living space with much appreciated comfort (optical fiber) in the tropics. A place for all those who love tranquility and nature: wake up to the sounds of screaming monkeys, toucans and a population of birds more colorful than others, enjoying, exclusively you and your loved ones, a spacious pool. The villa has 2 identical rooms upstairs (one with a safe), giving access to a teak terrace with a view overlooking the pool and the property. They are each equipped with air conditioning, a bathroom (dressing room, shower with hot water, toilet), a king size bed (plus single bed available), mosquito nets on the windows, ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully equipped: large fridge with freezer, a water dispenser, a blender, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, ceramic stove with a complete cookware. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar or take advantage of the terrace lounge. Terrace always shaded, and equipped with ceiling fans where you can take your meals. Your car will be protected under "la cochera". The property is equipped with 4 exterior cameras for your protection, and a manual gate guaranteeing your serenity. While having breakfast on the terrace, you can observe: sloths, squirrels, agoutis, frogs, many birds including different species of hummingbirds, butterflies (including the famous Morpho azul, Name of the house) .... In this lush greenery, we have a variety of fruit trees (almond, lemon, avocado, palm, ylang ylang, mango and banana), you will have the opportunity to swim in a private swimming pool of 39 feet by 16 feet, where you can admire the flora and the fauna ... as well as the stars (for the baths after 6pm). Our property manager, Aurélie, supports all the online bookings for the house and will help you on any issues related to your stay. You can also ask questions to Sharral, who speaks English, who maintains the pool and who stays in the small yellow casita next to the villa. The property is located 1km from playa negra, where you will reach the bars and restaurants with the Caribbean atmosphere, by a nice path. 3 minutes by car you will find the pretty center of Cahuita with its many bars and restaurants (with Afro Caribbean gastronomy), the Sunday organic market, its souvenir shops, its crêperie as well as a bank, a pharmacy and other grocery stores including a French bakery that makes delicious Viennese pastries. At the end of Cahuita, the entrance to the national park with its beautiful white sand beach where you can cross some of the animals encountered at the property as well as others who live more away from the men. Bus stop 150m to go to Limon or Puerto Viejo. Possible activities: snorkeling, park, nature walks (waterfalls ...), Tortuguero, rafting, kayak, canopy, animal shelters (jaguar rescue center), volcanoes.
