Cozy holiday home Friesland &meer is a stylish and modern holiday home in Oudehaske, centrally located between Joure and Heerenveen. With 240 m2 of recently renovated living space, completely located on the ground floor, amidst nature and culture, this house offers every comfort for a relaxing stay with family, friends or business groups. The space More about the house The house is suitable for groups of up to 14 people and has 8 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 separate toilets. The spacious, bright living room is ideal for gathering together. Thanks to a soundproof sliding wall, it can be split into two parts for extra privacy. The youngest guests have also been thought of: the house is child-friendly with, among other things, 2 highchairs, 2 cribs and a playpen, and there are games available. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook together and enjoy coziness at the table. Garden and outdoor space The large south-facing garden is an oasis of peace. The sun terrace, the fruit trees and the beautiful meadow with grazing sheep offer you the ideal setting to enjoy the Frisian outdoors. The garden is partially fenced and offers a lot of privacy, so you can relax. Children can play here. And what is also nice: you can park for free on private property. Extras Made beds, plenty of towels, coffee/tea and bathroom items are included in the stay. There is a barbecue outside that you can use. Would you like to rent a room for a meeting or training? Whether you want to relax in nature or are looking for a day full of adventurous activities, there is always something fun to experience! Activities for young and old For example, get on a sloop or a canal boat and discover the Friese Meren, one of the most beautiful water sports areas in the Netherlands. From the water, you can see the vast nature and picturesque villages gliding past you. Prefer to travel by land? Explore the hilly Gaasterland on an authentic Solex. Woo-hoo! For families, Kameleondorp Terherne is highly recommended. Here, the famous adventures of Hielke and Sietse van de Kameleon come to life, and young and old can enjoy scavenger hunts, water fun, and all kinds of interactive activities together. Another tip: Outdoor Oudehaske! How about a game of clog golf or foot golf, for example? In the vacation home, you will find a brochure rack with many more fun outings, hiking and cycling routes and cozy restaurants nearby. Skating and football With Thialf skating rink and the SC Heerenveen football stadium just a 10-minute drive away, B&B Friesland & Meer is also a perfect stay for groups and families who want to attend sporting events. For gourmets Do you want to dine in the holiday home, but don't want to cook yourself? We can arrange a private chef for you. Other things to note Good to know We, Rick and Aleida, live next door to the vacation home ourselves, but we think it's very important that you experience complete privacy. The house is available for both short and long stays, for smaller and large groups (up to 14 people). For smaller groups, the unused rooms will be closed. Additional rooms are available upon request at an additional cost. Friesland &meer is not a party venue!
