SunRock Lakehouse: Nature, Adventure, Relax

SunRock Lakehouse is a waterfront property available year round, where you can experience the most beautiful sunsets on the shores of Lake Huron! SunRock has all the amenities and comforts of home. The space *Please read House Rules in regards to ages for children that are welcome at the cottage* Unfortunately, the cottage is not set up for little ones under 7 years old. We appreciate that you have possibly considered our cottage but we have to watch for the safety of all our guests possibly booking the cottage. Thank you! We would also like to note while we appreciate guests travelling with their pets, unfortunately this cottage is used personally as well and there are severe allergies. Bedrooms: 1. Lake View: king bed on the upper level 2. Garden View: queen bed on the upper level 3. Blue Lake: single bed on the lower level. Cozy room, suitable for children (ages 7-12) and/or teenagers. The ejector pump is in the floor under the bed. This is triggered when running the washing machine, dishwasher, and toilets. Landscaping Service/Property Maintenance: SunRock Lakehouse receives weekly lawn maintenance on Wednesday’s/Thursday’s which takes approximately 45 minutes. Please ensure to have the lawn cleaned up to make it as quick as possible for them to cut the lawn, thank you. Security Camera: There is a security camera at the front door that captures part of the front deck to the steps, driveway, and the road. The camera is strictly used for property security and ensuring your check-in and check-out run smoothly. There's plenty of reality TV around, so rest assured that we are not interested in watching yours! SunRock Lakehouse is surrounded by forest and water. A main attraction for people but also wildlife and insects. Rainy and humid days especially attracts mosquitoes and gnats. We are in a rural area where you can expect to see some harmless spiders. Enjoy BBQs and outdoor dining on our waterfront patio. An outdoor shower will help wash off your sandy toes after some sandcastle building or volleyball on our beach (pack your volleyball and sandcastle making accessories). There's also a large grassy area and a private waterfront that is shallow for children to play in. It's a rock bottom beach, water shoes are strongly recommended! Also, bring your PFDs/lifejackets if you plan on doing some fun water activities! Lake Huron can be unpredictable at times. So pack your swimsuits and kayaks for a summer retreat, and snowmobile and cross country skis for a winter adventure and come enjoy SunRock Lakehouse in the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. Other things to note LONG WEEKENDS MUST BE BOOKED FROM Friday to Monday The cleaning fee also covers garbage removal at the end of the rental (up to 2 bags), anymore and there is a $25 fee per bag. Please ensure all garbage bins (including bathrooms) are emptied into a large black garbage bag (found in the garage) and left in the garage. There will be an extra $200 fee applied if nonregistered guests are caught on the property. There is absolutely NO FIREWORKS permitted on the property!!
