The house features a cozy wood-burning stove. It’s just a 400-meter walk to the beautiful Lake Vittsjön, where a swimming area and your own boat await you. In addition to pikeperch, pike, and perch, the lake offers some of Sweden’s best carp fishing. There are many lovely hiking trails nearby, and the Skåneleden trail passes through Vittsjö. In the forest, you’ll find not only wildlife such as roe deer and moose but also blueberries and mushrooms. If you aren’t lucky enough to spot a moose, you can instead visit a nearby moose safari. Golf enthusiasts can visit a beautiful 18-hole golf course about 3 km away. Day trips can easily be taken to cities such as Helsingborg, Malmö, and Kristianstad, as well as to the IKEA Museum in Älmhult.
