Cotswold Cottage, Lower Swell, nr Stow-on-the-Wold

Hillview is a charming Grade II listed Cotswold stone cottage c.1690 in the pretty village of Lower Swell, just outside Stow-on-the-Wold. It has a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a cosy log-burning stove. Lower Swell is centrally located in the North Cotswolds and is a great base from which to explore this picturesque area. There are beautiful country walks from the front door and it is only a two-minute walk to the village pub. Trains from London take around 90 mins to Moreton-in-Marsh. The space Enjoy a tranquil break at Hillview Cottage. Relax in front of the log-burner in the cosy sitting room after a day exploring the local area. Our delightful cottage sleeps up to four guests. The master bedroom is on the first floor together with the family bathroom. A further staircase leads to the twin bedroom. Please be aware that due to the age of the property, the stairs are steep and quite narrow so may not suit guests with mobility issues. There is on-street parking outside the cottage. WiFi and FreeSat are provided. Steps from the kitchen lead to the enclosed rear courtyard garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining. The neighbouring property does have right of access through the rear garden. Well-behaved small dogs are most welcome (maximum two dogs). We politely request that dogs are never left alone in the cottage and that they always remain downstairs only and off the furniture. Please note that cats are not allowed to stay at Hillview. Guest access There is free and unrestricted parking along the lane and it is usually possible to park right outside the cottage.
