The space The apartment on the entire upper floor extends over the main house to the extension. It is authentic and breathes history, the history of the old merchant shop that used to house it and its operators who lived here. There are still sloping floors, and open wood of the timber frame construction, but also new ecological clay plaster and new heating and sanitary facilities. Plus lots of art, design and all sorts of surprises. For example, a music room with a floor made of records, a piano, a guitar, flute and other instruments, a fully equipped small study including a Mac and printer. Internet via Wi-Fi is of course also provided. For entertainment there is satellite TV - Samsung the Frame or a good stereo system, 2 vintage Hercules bicycles and a small library with design books, cookbooks and architectural literature. There is also an 11 kW electric charging station for e-cars (Tesla - but also fits others). Charging is included in the price. And the highlight, from each overnight stay 20 EUR are automatically donated to the non-profit Heyne Kunst Fabrik - for the operation of the gallery. Other things to note The apartment is located right in the center of Bad Orb. Outside of bookings, I live there myself, so it is an apartment with personal belongings and not a hotel room or an IKEA location built for AIRBnb. Please be respectful of the inventory accordingly.
